Xiongdeng Monastery also called Yangdeng Monastery, it is located 10km from Daocheng, the southeast side of Haizi Mountain, attitude of 4105m.
It was a monastery from Ben trend in Beisong Dynasty, you can still find special construction feature of Ben trend. On the early of Ming Dynasty, by the rising of Gaju trend, this monastery becomed a Gaju trend monastery. Until now, monks in this monastery are using Ben trend ceremony and habbit also mixed with Gaju trend’s style.
