Haizi Mountain located between Daocheng and Litang, the average attitude is 4500M, the highest peak is Guoyin Rize which is 5020M. There are 1145 ponds and lakes on this mountain, this is so unique in China, and the Haizi Mountain in Tibetan language means mountain of lakes. The highest lake on this mountain is Xingyi Lake (4420M), it’s the holy lake in Tibetan, and also a paradise for all kinds of birds.
Beside the lakes, the rocks on this mountain is also very unique. The different shapes of the rocks are the relic of ancient “Ice cap”.
